Gbeminiyi Shoda is a seasoned Legal Practitioner with solid and progressive experience in all facets of Corporate and Commercial Law Practice. She began her career 10 years ago in a law firm in Lagos, and is currently the Managing Director of Structure HQ, a company that provides corporate and commercial solutions for individuals and innovative businesses.

Before becoming the Managing Director of Structure HQ and Principal Partner of SHQ Legal, she joined VFD Group Plc in 2015 providing leadership and directions to the Legal, Compliance and Company secretariat department across VFD’s ecosystem which includes Financial Advisory, Banking, Asset Management, Stockbroking, Remittance, Technology, Real Estate, Hospitality and Media.

Mark is an experienced Corporate/Commercial Lawyer with expertise in Capital Markets, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Technology, Taxation, and Dispute Resolution. His professional background in these practice areas has enabled him to deliver strategic and solution-oriented legal advice to domestic and international clients across various sectors. As a transactional lawyer, he has advised on several high-value transactions such as Green Bonds, Commercial Paper Programs, Venture Funding, Infrastructure/Project Finance, Tax Planning, and Transfer Pricing. He has also collaborated with his team in advising on the bespoke and ‘first-ever’ Non-Interest Commercial Paper Program in Nigeria listed on the FMDQ Exchange. He is passionate about the law and eager to add value to all clients he serves.
